PROFILE
George Finch/Boney and
Associates, P.A. is a North Carolina
professional corporation that provides a comprehensive package of land surveying,
civil engineering and land development services to our clients, who appreciate
the level of service and attention to detail that the professionals of GFBA
provide. Serving the needs and meeting the goals of our clients remain foremost
in all of the activities that we perform as we guide a project to successful
completion. As a result of this philosophy, we have developed and sustained
long-term relationships with many of our clients. We place significant value on
this business position as confirmation that our services had met or exceeded
the needs and expectations of our clients.
The majority of our civil engineering and land
development projects involve approvals and permitting processes administered by
State agencies and local municipalities. As such, we are accustomed to working
within the constraints of fixed schedules, and remain focused on the importance
of adhering to any deadlines for submittals that may affect final approvals,
permitting and construction start-up for a client's project. All of our efforts
are directed toward the successful approval and permitting of our projects
through a position of cooperative negotiation with code and regulatory
officials.
HISTORY
GFBA is the result of a merger of two successful
professional service firms on April 1, 1997. Those two firms were George Finch, Landscape Architect, P.A.,
established in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1982 to provide land
planning, landscape architecture, and site planning services, and Boney and
Associates, Inc., Engineering and Surveying. Boney and Associates, Inc. was
originally established in Raleigh as Boney and Newcomb in 1956. This
combination of professional disciplines has enhanced our capabilities and
provides for a stronger and more diversified consulting firm.
